Cassetto Fiscale – A-Cube connection guide, migration & FAQ

Learn to set up and migrate your Cassetto Fiscale connection using Agicap’s new A‑Cube method.

Written by Sybille Denis

Do you want to connect your Cassetto Fiscale to Agicap, or do you already have an active connection using the Legacy method? The Legacy method is being replaced by A-Cube. This guide explains how the new connection works, how to set it up from scratch, and how to migrate your existing connection in just a few minutes.

💡 In short: only the way Agicap accesses your Cassetto Fiscale changes. Instead of logging in with SPID every day, you set up a single delegation ( delega ) on the Agenzia delle Entrate portal, valid for up to 4 years. The invoices already in Agicap are kept.

🇮🇹 The Agicap interface labels and Agenzia delle Entrate portal labels mentioned in this guide are kept in Italian, exactly as they appear on screen.

1. What is A-Cube?

Agicap does not read the Cassetto Fiscale directly: access is reserved to accredited intermediaries. That is why Agicap works with A-Cube , an accredited Italian e-invoicing provider, which reads your Cassetto Fiscale on your behalf once you have granted it a delegation ( delega ) on the Agenzia delle Entrate portal.

A-Cube replaces the Legacy method, our previous provider.

Why this change?

  • The Legacy method will stop working after 31 December 2026 .

  • With Legacy, you have to log in again with SPID very frequently. With A-Cube, you set up a single delegation, valid for up to 4 years.

  • Agicap no longer stores your portal login credentials: the delegation replaces them.

  • There is nothing to install: no software, no plugin, no certificate.

What doesn't change for you:

  • Invoices and credit notes keep arriving in Accounts Payable ( Contabilità fornitori ) and Accounts Receivable ( Contabilità clienti ), just like today.

  • Collection remains automatic, every night .

  • The invoices already in Agicap are kept .

What is collected

Documents

Where to find them in Agicap

Supplier invoices and credit notes

Accounts Payable and cash flow forecast

Client invoices and credit notes, with their instalments

Accounts Receivable and cash flow forecast

Quotes, purchase orders, proforma invoices, chart of accounts, payment files

Not available : SDI does not carry them

The connection is read-only : Agicap does not issue, modify or transmit anything via SDI on your behalf.

2. Before you start: prerequisites

What you need

How to check

Access to the Agenzia delle Entrate reserved area as the company (SPID, CIE, CNS, Fisconline or Entratel)

After logging in, the utenza di lavoro (work profile) at the top right shows the company, not the individual

At least one free intermediary slot (maximum 2 per company on the Delega unica ai servizi online )

Il tuo profilo > Deleghe > Intermediari > Chi ho delegato

Access to the company PEC mailbox during setup

This is the PEC address registered to your VAT number ( partita IVA ). Your accountant ( commercialista ) does not always have access to it

The company's VAT number (11 digits) or tax code ( codice fiscale , 16 characters)

It must belong to the company granting the delegation ( delega )

NB: if you don't manage access to the Agenzia delle Entrate portal or the company PEC yourself, let your accountant or whoever handles it know in advance.

3. How to set up a new A-Cube connection

Setup takes three steps, in this order : delegation ( delega ) on the portal, Agicap form, PEC confirmation. Each step only takes a few minutes.

Step 1 – Delegation on the Agenzia delle Entrate portal

A-Cube's tax code ( codice fiscale ) to delegate to is: 10442360961

Image

  • In the Delega unica ai servizi online box, click Nuova delega .

Image

  • Enter 10442360961 as the delegate's tax code, then click Conferma .

  • Tick Consultazione e acquisizione delle fatture elettroniche o dei loro duplicati informatici , then click Inserisci .

  • Check in Chi ho delegato that a row for 10442360961 appears with Stato delega set to Attiva .

Image

Step 2 – Connection form in Agicap

  • In Agicap, open Bank and Integrations , then Connect > New integration and select Cassetto Fiscale .

  • Leave Metodo di connessione on A-Cube (already selected).

  • Under Access A-Cube , tick Confermo di aver completato la delega ad A-Cube .

  • Under Ulteriori informazioni , enter the company's VAT number ( partita IVA ) or tax code ( codice fiscale ) in Codice IVA cliente .

  • Click Avviare la connessione .

🎥

Step 3 – Confirmation from the PEC mailbox

After clicking Avviare la connessione , A-Cube sends an email to the company PEC address linked to the tax code you entered.

  • Open the email in the company PEC mailbox.

  • Click the link in the email.

  • Accept the terms on the page that opens and confirm.

From this point, the connection activates on its own.

⏱️ Wait 30 minutes to an hour before looking for your documents : this is the time A-Cube needs to retrieve the first batch from the Agenzia delle Entrate. You can then click Sincronizzare on the connection, or let the automatic nightly collection do the rest.

4. How to migrate from the Legacy method to A-Cube

If your Cassetto Fiscale connection was created before A-Cube was introduced, it uses the Legacy method. You can migrate it to A-Cube on your own, without deleting the connection and without losing your history .

📅 Deadline: the Legacy method will stop working after 31 December 2026. We recommend migrating as soon as possible, so you have time to handle the delegation and PEC confirmation without rushing.

Deadline: the Legacy method will stop working after 31 December 2026. We recommend migrating as soon as possible, so you have time to handle the delegation and PEC confirmation without rushing.

Migration procedure

  • Grant the delegation ( delega ) to A-Cube on the Agenzia delle Entrate portal, as described in Step 1 of section 3.

  • In Agicap, open Bank and Integrations and, on your existing Cassetto Fiscale connection, click Rinnovare l'autorizzazione .

  • At the top of the form you will find an information banner and the Metodo di connessione menu already set to A-Cube . Leave it as is.

  • Tick Confermo di aver completato la delega ad A-Cube , check the Codice IVA cliente and click Avviare la connessione .

  • Confirm from your PEC mailbox , as described in Step 3 of section 3.

Done! Agicap takes care of the rest: once A-Cube has completed the first collection, the connection automatically switches to A-Cube and the Legacy credentials are revoked.

NB: if you click Annulla during setup, your connection stays on Legacy, unchanged. You can resume the migration whenever you like.

What happens to my data?

  • The invoices already in Agicap are kept. The history collected with Legacy stays where it is.

  • No duplicates : a document already collected with Legacy is not imported a second time by A-Cube.

  • No gaps in collection : Agicap runs a final Legacy sync before switching to A-Cube, which picks up from the following days.

5. Do I need to do anything with my SPID credentials?

No. With A-Cube, Agicap no longer needs your portal login credentials:

  • No daily SPID login to repeat in Agicap

  • No credentials to renew in Agicap: the Legacy credentials are revoked automatically after the migration

  • Only one action to repeat over time : renewing the delegation ( delega ) on the Agenzia delle Entrate portal when it expires (see FAQ)

💬 A question or a doubt? Our support team and your Agicap contact are available to help you, including during the migration.

6. FAQ

Timeline and migration

The Legacy method stops on 31/12/2026: what happens if I don't migrate?

After 31 December 2026, the Legacy connection will stop collecting your invoices. The invoices already in Agicap remain, but no new ones will arrive until you migrate to A-Cube. In case you don’t have an additional space for Deleghe , contact the chat support to communicate it. We’re working on a solution for these cases.

How do I know whether I'm using Legacy or A-Cube?

On your Cassetto Fiscale connection, click Rinnovare l'autorizzazione : the Metodo di connessione menu shows the method. If in doubt, message us in the chat and we'll check for you.

Do I need to delete the existing connection and create a new one?

No. The migration is done on the existing connection, via Rinnovare l'autorizzazione . Don't delete it: you would lose the link with your history.

Can I keep using Legacy for now?

Yes, Legacy remains selectable in the menu until the deadline, for example if you can't grant the delegation ( delega ) yet. Keep in mind, however, that it will stop working after 31 December 2026.

Delegation and PEC

How long does the delegation to A-Cube last?

The delegation expires on 31 December of the fourth year after the year in which you grant it (e.g. a delegation granted in 2026 is valid until 31/12/2029). When it expires, simply renew the delegation on the portal: the Agicap connection doesn't need to be set up again.

I already have two delegated intermediaries, what should I do?

The Agenzia delle Entrate allows a maximum of 2 intermediaries per company. You need to free up a slot (by revoking a delegation you no longer need) before you can delegate to A-Cube. If this isn't possible, let us know promptly.

Can my accountant ( commercialista ) grant the delegation on my behalf?

Yes, if they have access to the Agenzia delle Entrate portal as the company . Remember, though, that the final confirmation is sent to the company PEC, which the accountant does not always have access to.

Can I revoke the delegation?

Yes, at any time from the Chi ho delegato screen on the portal. Revoking it stops invoice collection in Agicap.

I have several companies in my group, what do I need to do?

Each company must grant its own delegation to A-Cube and have its own connection in Agicap, with its own tax code ( codice fiscale ). The PEC confirmation is sent to each company's mailbox.

Invoices and synchronisation

How much history is retrieved?

For a new connection , the 3 months prior to its creation are retrieved (a longer history is possible on request, covering the current year and the entire previous year). For a migration , the history collected with Legacy stays in Agicap.

How often are invoices updated?

Every night, automatically. A document can take up to 72 hours to appear in the Cassetto Fiscale after going through SDI (a delay on the Agenzia delle Entrate side), plus one nightly collection.

Why do all invoices arrive as "open", even those already paid?

SDI does not carry the payment status. Every document arrives open in Agicap and must be reconciled or closed in Agicap.

An invoice to the Public Administration has no due date

This is normal: during the 16 days in which the Public Administration can accept or reject it, only a simplified version exists, without payment data. The data is completed after acceptance.

Troubleshooting

Below you'll find the most common issues, their cause and what to do. If the issue persists, contact us in the chat with a screenshot and as much information as possible about the steps you followed.

The connection was created but nothing has been collected for days

The PEC confirmation was not completed, or the delegation was not actually granted.

What to do? Check Chi ho delegato on the portal, then look for the A-Cube email in the company PEC mailbox. Both cases can be fixed without setting up the connection again.

I didn't receive the PEC email

The tax code entered in Agicap is probably not the one of the company that granted the delegation, so the email went elsewhere.

What to do? On the connection, click Rinnovare l'autorizzazione and re-enter the correct tax code. There's no need to delete the connection, and the delegation remains valid.

I confirmed the PEC but I still can't see any documents

A-Cube hasn't finished retrieving the first batch yet, or the documents are still within the Cassetto Fiscale's 72-hour delay.

What to do? Wait 30–60 minutes, then click Sincronizzare on the connection, or let the nightly collection run.

I can see an invoice on the portal but not in Agicap

Its date is probably outside the connection's history window, or beyond the Cassetto Fiscale retention period (31 December of the year following receipt).

What to do? Check the date. If it falls within the window, contact us in the chat.

Collection stopped after months of working

The delegation has been revoked or has expired (or, if you're still on Legacy, the credentials have expired).

What to do? Check the Stato delega in Chi ho delegato and renew it if it is no longer Attiva . If you're still on Legacy, take the opportunity to migrate to A-Cube (section 4).
