Starting today, the term "forecast," used for your long-term values, is now called "budget" across Agicap. This change makes it easier to tell your long-term planning apart from your short-term forecasts.

What’s the difference between actual, forecast, and budget?
Actuals: the bank transactions that have actually gone through your accounts.
Forecast: your short-term projection, built in cash positioning from your expected transactions and estimates. It is updated continuously and compared against actuals.
Budget: your long-term values, entered in the cash flow plan. It’s your planning target: it serves as the reference for tracking variances against actuals and forecasts.
Are my figures, calculations, or scenarios affected?
No. Only the name changes. Your data, your scenarios, and the calculation methods stay exactly the same. No action is needed on your side.
Where does the change apply?
Everywhere the term referred to your long-term values in Agicap: Cash flow plan, Reporting, the Mobile app, and the other modules that refer to them.
Are my exports changing?
The content of your exports doesn’t change. Only the column headers now show “Budget” instead of "Forecast."
